While growing up, I had the unique experience of living in a multigenerational household when my grandparents moved in with us when I was in 6th grade. At the time, I didn't relish having an extra set of parents keeping watch, but in my adult life I reflect with love on all that I gained through that experience. Upon return to the Germantown area following a job relocation, we seized the opportunity to purchase the home from my parents so that our children too could realize the same benefits. Our household includes my husband Matt, our children Reagan (Germantown Class of 2017) and Ben (Germantown Class of 2020), and my father Phillip Rebensburg. My mother, Mary, was with us until she succumbed to her battle with cancer January 28, 2020. Though melding generations has not been without challenges, I am forever grateful to the wisdom, love, and guidance they provided in helping to shape our children.
